i'm weaning off 25mg of amitriptyline to 12.5. cant sleep as well and i'm irritable. i hope i can get off this drug and actually sleep because i need to heal and lose weight. i'm sick of not being able to lose weight. i've had a gutful. also felt like a zombie but yet still irritable either way.

After stopping Paroxetine I became very emotional and angry and irritated and depressed, emphasis on ANGRY, I was so angry at everyone who caused my anxiety and I blamed them for being on SSRI which caused a lot of problems. I feel like i wasted years doing absolutely nothing but recovering and now I'm way way behind. Way behind. After I graduated with a BSC I didn't work and now no job will take me and everytime I struggle with money I start getting angry at people, at life, at everything. I hope life gets better.

I started taking Paroxetine for panic disorder, GAD, and depression. After 3 years I decided to stop because I stopped having panic attacks and my anxiety got better (depression never went away) and I gained about 30KG in those years .. I tapered down for a whole year it was really difficult getting of Paroxetine, now it's been 2 months since my last dose and I feel like shit, I'm back where I started except for the panic attacks which kinda went away (I only had 1 panic attack since I stopped it)

My partner and I dealt with this issue for a while, she was finally finishing college with my support, she had to defend herself and our relationship to 98% women she was surrounded with… Our spread is 26 years, together for 6, married for 1, we support each others dreams and have aspirations for a family. She has encouraged one of her best friends to become involved with a older man, because as my wife says “ an older man know what’s important both in life and in marriage” we don’t have time for games… I would add that most of my friends had doubts about the durability of the relationship we have proven them wrong! So love who you want! Be happy! Life is a short trip, enjoy it all!

There is 31 years between my partner and I, and we have been together for over 13 years, it hasn't all been plain sailing but what relationship is. Yes I'm the older one , at least in ages if not mentality 😉 We teach each other lots all the time, and have no problems from friends or family. We don't choose who we fall for ,only how we follow it up.

Ive been on 20 mg for 3 yrs. I told my doc I wanted to come off now and all she said was just taper off by taking it every other day for one week and thats it. Its been 3 weeks since ive stopped. Ive been feeling dizzy and not good. I told my doc it may be the withdrawal symptoms and she said its not. She said Lexapro is out of your system after 3 days. So I dont know what to do. Im tempted to get back on just to feel better but I dont want to anymore. 😢

I have been on an anti depressant of one kind or another since i was 30. I am 54 now. I just found out that my thinning hair, sweating, and thyroid problems are caused by the antidepressants. Ugh! I am so ready to get off them. They cause a sugar addiction like no other!

Grooming imho is when adult tries to manipulate a childs development and feelings. However I feel a 22 year old although legally an adult is no more an adult then an 18 year old. I would not consider that age gap grooming. Lastly saying an adult is being groomed is dumb bullshit as their brains should already been fully developed. Knowing someone when they were young but dating them as adults can be coincedental.

I am an ent surgeon and don’t like doing the surgery even though it’s considered routine ….its painful…. However I don’t see any other choice if child has apnea and breathing problems unresponsive to meds…I’m so happy people are saying this is more major than routine …

I have been struggling so so so much with anxiety since being completely off and this video finally made me feel okay for the first time in a while. My brain needs to hurry up and readjust! Your doctor weaned you off super fast! Honestly it is not recommended. I am taking the same medicine at the same dosage and Im lowering 2,5 each time, let it stabilise and more. Thats the problem with GPs they are not up to date with mental health research

6:30 The weight gain is what turned me off as well. Had to stop it. I wish it didn’t do that and I also thought it was because I’m getting older but now that I’ve weaned off it. The weight is falling off.
